History
The YMCA of Cobb County Board of
Directors had a vision for NE Cobb County—a bustling community
center, even open late on weekends for teens.
The YMCA purchased the Cub Foods property during Thanksgiving week 2003 and set in
motion a whirlwind schedule for the facility's dramatic
reincarnation.
In just four months and four days, Northeast
Cobb YMCA was open. This new Y sure isn't anything like your father's
YMCA. Which is exactly the point. Poised to bring fitness
training and athletic performance to the next level, Northeast
Cobb YMCA redefines what a YMCA is and can be.
