  • Billick is a graduate of Dunwoody High School where he played for Tom Bass

  • Went 3-4 with a 2.03 ERA and 40 Ks in 41.1 IP as a senior

  • A first-team DeKalb County Dugout Club All-County selection

  • Named team MVP of the DeKalb County North-South All-Star Classic

  • As a junior at Dunwoody, batted .419-4-32 and went 5-3, 2.81 ERA with 60 Ks and 6 BBs in 56 IP

  • NAIA All Conference Team in 2007 with Southern Poly

  • With Coach Preston Peavy of VSI Baseball

    • Players will learn:


    •  
    • Catcher responsibility & leadership on the field
       

    • Exercise and stretch routines. Learning the importance of flexibility behind the plate. 
       

    • Blocking footwork and blocking technique drills. Live drills. Block and recover drills.
       

    • Throwing and footwork to first second and third. Quickness and agility drills specific to the position.
       

    • The importance of controlling the running game and handling a pitching staff. 
       

    • Receiving and glove work, set up behind the plate.
       

    • Game situations. Plays at the plate, handling pop ups, controlling a pitching staff.
       

    • We will discuss questions players might have about catching at the college or high school level. 
       

    • We will be open to parents questions about finding a team and playing in college as well as beginning a path towards professional baseball. 
       

    • Everyone will  learn what they need to work on in order to move up to the their next level.
